The road from Samaria to the Galilee passes thru Genin (Ir-Ganim), then to Tell Yizreel (Jezreel), into the valley of Yizreel (Jezreel). Jesus, on his way back to Cana, may have passed through this place where an ancient trade road connected the south and the north.
The photo above is the view from Mt Precipie, south of Nazareth. A section of the valley of Yizreel is seen. The steep hill in the background is Mt Tabor. This is a typical Galileen scene - the fertile valley with the hills around it.
